Plans are underway for a National Music Center & Museum in Washington, D.C. The building, created by the Library of Congress, Smithsonian Institution and Federal City Council, will include 55-thousand square feet of exhibits and two concert halls. Though not confirmed, it's been reported that the Sinatra family may donate Frank Sinatra's collection of memorabilia to the center, which is scheduled to open in 2008.

After being shut out at the recent Country Music Association Awards, Toby Keith should now be feeling much better. His new CD, "Shock'n Y'all," was released the day before the awards show. First week sales reached 585-thousand copies to debut at Number One on Billboard's Top 200 and Top Country Albums charts. He also holds the Number One position on the Country Singles chart for the second week with the album's debut single, "I Love This Bar."

Country star Wynonna Judd was arrested for drunk driving in the early morning hours of November 13th. She agreed to a Breathalyzer test, which registered her blood alcohol level at more than twice the legal limit. Judd issued a statement saying, "I know there is never a situation where drinking and driving is acceptable and I take full responsibility for my error in judgment. I had been out celebrating my upcoming wedding and a girlfriend's birthday and clearly let my excitement get the best of me. I am always thinking about the safety of others and my family and have learned a very serious lesson." Wynonna plans to marry her bodyguard D.R. Roach later this month.
