U.S. officials say they are taking seriously reports of possible terrorist plots against U.S. nuclear plants.

Gordon Johndroe, the spokesman for the Homeland Security Director, says the government continues to receive information that terrorists are interested in targeting U.S. nuclear facilities.

The Washington Times newspaper quotes U.S. intelligence sources as saying terrorists are planning an attack against a U.S. nuclear plant in the northeast of the country to coincide with the nation's July fourth national holiday. However, other U.S. officials describe the report as less than credible.

Meanwhile, the head of the Federal Bureau of Investigation has told a Senate panel that the Bureau was warned last summer that Zacarias Moussaoui, now in jail in connection with the September 11th terrorist attacks, could in his words "fly something into the World Trade Center."

In a Senate Judiciary hearing last week FBI Director Robert Mueller said the information should have been pursued more aggressively, but that it shouldn't be seen as what he calls a "signpost" of what happened on September 11.

Mr. Moussaoui was in jail at the time of the attacks after arousing suspicions when he asked to learn how to fly a plane but not take-off or land at a flight school in Minnesota. Prosecutors say he could have been the 20th hijacker. His lawyers say he had no direct connection to the other hijackers.

World events are historic steps in the purpose and plan of God. The outcome of history is up to man - restricted only by sovereign limits imposed by God. The future events are consequences resulting from mankind exercising the gift of intelligence and free will in response to situations developing from past events. This human response is either synchronized to His Will or in rebellion to His Will. Behavior is either the manifestation of love or it's opposite - hate. As Christians we should be involved through loving (caring attitude and behavior for others) actions empowered by prayer, understanding, and submission to His Will.
