Israel says it has pulled forces out of several Palestinian areas, including Ramallah in the West Bank. Forces remain in parts of Bethlehem and plan to stay just outside the other areas. Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon ordered the withdrawals as a new peace effort by U-S Mideast envoy Anthony Zinni was getting under way. He met with Mr. Sharon Thursday, and will meet with other Israeli officials Friday before visiting Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat in Ramallah. Correspondent Laurie Kassman is in Jerusalem, and spoke with News Now's Victor Beattie about Mr. Zinni's schedule:
