A car bomb has exploded in an ultra-orthodox neighborhood of Jerusalem, killing at least one person.

First reports said a number of people were also injured in the blast on the edge of the Mea Shearim district.

The blast occurred as Jews were leaving synagogues at the end of the sabbath. Further details were not immediately available.
