In National Basketball Association action, the Portland Trailblazers won their ninth straight game when Damon Stoudamire hit a three-point shot just before overtime ended to beat the host Milwaukee Bucks, 104-103.
Portland took its very first lead of the game with little more than a minute remaining in the extra period Saturday.
The Miami Heat used a 24-5 run to start the second half to beat the Mavericks 109-95 in Dallas. The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Utah Jazz 116-105 in Salt Lake City. The Atlanta Hawks edged the visiting Cleveland Cavaliers, 84-81.
In the other NBA games Saturday, the Houston Rockets got by the Suns 104-97 in Phoenix. And the Los Angeles Clippers beat the visiting Golden State Warriors 109-95.
