Di Luca Wins Fourth Stage of Tour of Valencia VOA Sports 2 Mar 2002 03:25 UTC 
Italian cyclist Danilo Di Luca led a breakaway to capture the fourth stage of the Tour of Valencia race in Vallada, Spain, but Spain's Antonio Colom remains the overall leader.
Di Luca finished the 148-kilometer ride in three hours, 55 minutes, 48 seconds, just ahead of countryman Ivan Basso and Switzerland's Alex Zuelle. The top three riders were credited with the same time.
Colom finished in fourth place eight seconds behind the breakaway pack, but kept his overall lead ahead of Di Luca. The final stage of the Tour is Saturday, a 23.5 kilometer time trial around Valencia.
