Two-time U.S. Open golf champion Ernie Els of South Africa has the lead after the second round of the Genuity Championships in Miami, Florida.

Els, ranked fifth in the world, fired a five-under-par, 67 in his second round to go to 11-under-par, 133 for the tournament.

Miami native Briny Baird is in second place, two strokes behind Els. Baird fired the best round of the day, a six-under-par, 66 on the Par 72 Doral Course.

World number one golfer Tiger Woods is one of five players tied for third at seven-under-par, 137 for two rounds. Woods fired a two-under-par, 70 in his second round.

Among those tied with Woods is former British Open winner Justin Leonard of the United States, who also shot a two under par, 70 in his second round.
