In National Basketball Association play, Indiana Pacers rallied late to edge the Grizzlies 83-82 Wednesday.
Indianapolis came alive in the game's final 4.5 minutes to erase a 13 point deficit. Reggie Miller sank two 3 point shots in the final 60 seconds to lift the Pacers on their home court.
In Philadelphia, Allen Iverson scored 38 points and Derrick Coleman added 18 more as the 76er's beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 96-91.
Meanwhile, Shaquille O'Neal scored 30 points and grabbed 14 rebounds in the Los Angeles Lakers' 111-93 rout of the Magic in Orlando. The Magic have lost seven consecutive games to the defending champion Lakers.
In other NBA action, the Detroit Pistons handed Atlanta its fifth straight loss, pummeling the visiting Hawks 88-71. And Utah's Karl Malone scored 18 points as the Jazz rolled over the Bulls 90-78. Wednesday's game put Malone at the 34,000 point mark of his 17 year NBA career.
