New Zealand cricket team Captain Stephen Fleming has been fined 40 percent of his match fee for showing dissent against an official in Tuesday's one-day international loss to Australia.
Fleming shouted at umpire Darrell Hair after hitting a boundary off Aussie bowler Shane Warne in the 15th over. The Kiwi captain said Australia had too many men outside the designated circle and the hit should have been called a no ball. Under international rules for limited overs matches, teams are allowed to have only two men outside the circle for the first 15 overs of a match.
International Cricket Council referee Hanumant Singh imposed the fine after a post-match hearing.
