Canadian fighter jets shadowed Flight 101 over the Atlantic Ocean after to took off from London's Heathrow Airport.
The FBI tells VOA it wants to interview the passenger but would not say exactly why. Reports say the passenger's name matches one on a goverment watch list. They also say a security screener at Heathrow Airport thought the passenger resembled someone on a separate no-fly list, but is traveling under another name.
International airlines and U.S. authorities have been especially vigilant for suspicious passengers since the September 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon.
