In the National Basketball Association, Cleveland's Andre Miller hit a three-point shot at the buzzer to force overtime, as the Cavaliers rallied to beat the visiting San Antonio Spurs 114-107.
Miller scored eight of his career high 37 points Thursday after the Cavs rallied from nine points down in the final five minutes of regulation.
The Phoenix Suns trailed the visiting Indiana Pacers by nine with little more than a minute left in regulation before storming back to win 107-100 in overtime. Stephan Marbury, with 26 points, scored nine in the final half minute to force the extra frame.
Miami's Eddie Jones netted 32 points to boost the Heat to a 100-86 win over the visiting New York Knicks - losers of six straight games.
In the only other NBA game Thursday, the Utah Jazz crushed the Memphis Grizzlies 114-70 in Salt Lake City.
