The Croatian News Agency (HINA) says five ministers from the Social Liberal Party have resigned from the government of Prime Minister Ivica Racan.
The ministers announced their decision after a meeting with the prime minister late Wednesday. The action follows disagreements among coalition party leaders.
The Social Liberal Party is one of five parties in the governing coalition.
Earlier Prime Minister Racan said he did not reject the possibility of remaining in office as the head of a minority government.
