Japanese Share Prices Close Slightly Higher

Japanese share prices closed slightly higher Thursday, while the U.S. dollar fell against the Japanese yen.
Tokyo's key Nikkei index rose 15 points to finish at 10,588.
In Tokyo currency trading, the dollar was selling at 133.88 yen, down six tenths of yen from the same time Wednesday.
In Hong Kong, the price of gold closed at $296.65 an ounce, down 60 cents from Wednesday's close.
