Older Americans Likely to Develop High Blood Pressure

Researchers say 9 out of 10 Americans over the age of 55 are likely to develop high blood pressure.
The information was gleaned from the Framingham Heart Study by the National Blood, Heart and Lung Institute. The study, released today, was conducted over a 22-year period.
The Framingham Heart Study has collected data from the residents of the city of Framingham in the eastern U.S. state of Massachusetts for 50 years.
