An Indonesian navy officer says at least 33 people are feared dead after their boat sank in rough seas off Indonesia's Sumatra island.
The officer says local fishermen have recovered at least one body from the vessel, which is said to have sunk on Wednesday. He cast doubt on the possibility that any survivors will be found.
It is unclear if authorities have launched a search and rescue operation.
