Tokyo Stocks and Yen Up

The U.S. dollar slipped against the yen Monday afternoon, while prices on the Tokyo Stock Exchange closed higher.
In Tokyo, the dollar was trading at 132.68 yen, down .06 yen from Friday afternoon but above its late Friday level of 132.60 yen in New York.
The Tokyo Stock Exchange's Nikkei Average gained 45 points to finish at 10,093 points. On Friday, the average fell 33 points.
In Hong Kong, the price of gold fell 88-cents to close at $298.13 an ounce.
