Ferrero Advances to Marseille Open 3rd Round

Top-seeded Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain has advanced to the third round of the Marseille Open tennis tournament in France, after defeating Russian player Andrei Stoliarov in three sets.
After Ferrero won Thursday's opening set, Stoliarov fought back to take the second set before the Spaniard overpowered him in the final set to complete the 6-0, 5-7, 6-3 win.
In other action, Greg Rusedski of Britain defeated Frenchman Fabrice Santoro, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4, while three-time former champion Marc Rosset of Switzerland upset eighth-seeded Hicham Arazi of Morocco, 7-5, 6-2. Second-seed and defending champion Yevgeny Kafelnikov of Russia takes on Arnaud Clement of France in the late match.
