Japanese Share Prices Close Higher

Japanese share prices closed higher Thursday, while the U.S. dollar fell against the Japanese yen.
Tokyo's key Nikkei index rose 113 points to finish at 10,081. It was the first time the Nikkei closed above the 10,000 mark since January 29.
In Tokyo currency trading, the dollar ended the selling day at 132.46 yen, down seven tenths of yen from the same time Wednesday.
The Hong Kong market is closed until Friday for the Lunar New Year holiday.
