Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani -- who received worldwide praise for getting his city through the September 11th terrorist attack -- is in London for another high honor.

Britain's Queen Elizabeth will present the mayor with an honorary knighthood Wednesday in a ceremony in Buckingham Palace.

He will receive the title for his calmness and genuine concern for the victims of the worst disaster in New York history.

Mayor Giuliani told British media the late British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was a source of strength for him, saying Mr. Churchill never faltered while Nazi bombs pounded London nightly in the early months of World War II.
