Every year, about this time, cities all over the world take part in a festival known as Carnival. America's best known Carnival celebration takes place Tuesday in New Orleans, Louisiana, where it's called Mardi Gras. Whether it's in Nice, France; Rio de Janiero, Trinidad, or Mobile, Alabama, the celebration always includes a colorful pageantry of floats, dancers and bands.
On today's Dateline, Rebecca Ward invites you to join in the fun of Mardi Gras.
