National Basketball Association stars Chris Webber and Jason Kidd have been added to the starting lineups as injury replacements for the NBA All-Star Game.
Western Conference coach Don Nelson chose Webber to replace Los Angeles center Shaquille O'Neal, who pulled out of the game with arthritis in his right big toe. But Webber's status is uncertain after he missed Sacramento's game in Boston earlier this week with a stomach ailment.
Eastern Conference coach Byron Scott picked Kidd, his point guard on the New Jersey Nets, to replace Vince Carter of the Toronto Raptors. Carter strained his left quadriceps Thursday in Toronto's game against San Antonio.
Earlier Friday, Baron Davis of the Charlotte Hornets was chosen to replace Carter on the East roster.
