Braving freezing temperatures, a crowd of over 100,000 fans gathered at a victory parade in Boston Tuesday to honor the Super Bowl 36 champion New England Patriots. Patriots owner Robert Kraft said, "Today we are all Patriots and today the New England region is world champion." Patriots coach Bill Bellechick said winning the Super Bowl was a culmination of a long journey.

Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Tom Brady led the players in addressing the fans.

Tight security measures included a ban on backpacks, briefcases and other bags at the City Hall rally.

The Patriots defeated the Saint Louis Rams Sunday in Super Bowl 36, 20-17. The win gave New England its first Super Bowl championship in its 42-year existence. It also marked the first championship of any kind for Boston since the Celtics won the NBA crown in 1986.
