Thai police say the bodies of six more people, believed to be from Burma's Karen ethnic group, have been found floating in a river along the Thai-Burma border.

The latest discovery brings the total number of corpses pulled from the Moei river to at least 20. Fourteen bodies were recovered Saturday.

Police say the victims had been blindfolded, their hands and feet bound and their throats cut.

Thai authorities say they suspect the murders stem from a conflict among gangs smuggling drugs or illegal workers from Burma to Thailand.
