The Olympic torch is making its way into the host state of Utah for the first time as the 21,700 kilometer relay through the United States nears its end.

The flame enters Utah, with its red sandstone and stunning views, through the rugged and isolated Arches National Park. Passing through the natural landmark known as Delicate Arch, the torch is being carried Monday through Monument Valley, Bryce Canyon National Park and Zion National Park. On Tuesday, the Olympic torch starts in Cedar City and continues its journey to Salt Lake City, where it will be used to light a cauldron on Friday at the opening ceremony for the Winter Olympics.
