Malaysian police have detained more than 200 Africans as part of an anti-crime sweep in Kuala Lumpur.
The 215 Africans were arrested Friday in a major sweep against illegal immigrants and petty criminals.
About 150 of the suspects escaped custody while being trucked to an immigration detention center, but most of them were quickly re-captured.
The official Bernama news agency says most of the suspects were from Liberia, Cameroon, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
