Police in Las Vegas, Nevada have presented prosecutors with evidence against troubled heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson in the alleged rape of a local woman.
Police say they recommended Friday that prosecutors bring charges against Tyson. The district attorney's office says it may take several weeks to decide whether to charge Tyson with a crime.
The meeting of legal officials came just three days after Nevada athletic officials refused to grant Tyson a boxing license, preventing a planned fight against champion Lennox Lewis. Promoters are trying to find another venue for the bout.
Tyson spent three years in an Indiana prison after being convicted of raping a Miss Black America contestant.
