The anti-globalization forum in Brazil has criticized the U.S.-led campaign against terrorism.
One report by the French News Agency says World Social Forum delegates meeting in the city of Porto Alegre, adopted a resolution Saturday that says war is not the way to solve the world's problems.
Speakers at the meeting also denounced President Bush's designation of Iran, Iraq and North Korea as an "axis of evil."
In his State of the Union speech last week, President Bush said the three countries pose a global security threat because they are helping terrorists and trying to develop weapons of mass destruction.
All three countries are on the U.S. State Department's list of nations that sponsor state terrorism.
The World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, Brazil is the self-proclaimed alternative to the World Economic Forum being held in New York.
