Australia's weakened Davis Cup tennis squad has arrived in Argentina for next week's world group first round clash without world No. 1 Lletyon Hewitt.
Hewitt and two other key Australian players, Mark Philippoussis and Patrick Rafter, are injured.
Aussie Captain John Fitzgerald will lead a team that includes Andrew Ilie, Scott Draper, and Wayne Arthurs against the Argentine squad of Guillermo Canas, Gaston Gaudio, Juan Ignacio Chela and Lucas Arnold. Alejandro Gattiker is the Argentine captain.
The match series will take place on the red clay courts of the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club between February 8 and 10. The winner of next week's match series faces the winner of the series between Croatia and Germany.
