INTRO: Three U-S soldiers have been killed in separate attacks in Iraq since Tuesday, as guerilla activities against coalition forces continue. Kirk Troy reports from Baghdad.
TEXT: U-S military sources say a member of the Fourth Infantry Division was killed and another wounded when their convoy hit a roadside bomb north of Baghdad. A roadside bomb also killed one U-S soldier near Ramadi, west of Baghdad, on Tuesday.
The military reports that, also on Tuesday, another U-S soldier was killed and two were wounded in a bomb attack in Al Taji, north of Baghdad. The incident occurred in the same town where a pipeline burst and exploded in flames on Tuesday. Officials said the cause of the explosion was under investigation.
The most recent attacks bring to 67 the number of U-S soldiers killed in hostile fire incidents since President Bush declared major combat to be over in May. A further 475 have been injured. (Signed)
